That’s why we created the Power Forward Sober Living Scholarship. Our Scholarship provides your first three to six weeks of sober housing for those in recovery. Upon arriving at a sober-living house from rehab or detox, a woman can expect a safe and supportive environment that promotes long-term sobriety. The house managers will assist in helping her settle in and become familiar with the house rules and daily routine. She will receive help and support from those knowledgeable about addiction and recovery. Our team will guide you in developing healthy habits, setting goals, and addressing any challenges that may arise during the recovery process.

I was a resident at the women’s sober home for a couple of months. The woman who runs it has stolen from residents including myself ( I have filed a police report) and also many residents believe is using drugs herself. She allows certain women to use drugs alcoholism on the premises as well. Seasonal offerings like rowing, kayaking, and sailing, along with tradition holistic pursuits, like massage, Reiki, Tai-Chi, Qigong and meditation are all designed to bring joy back into a person’s life.

The Willing House

We expect our residents to be actively involved in an individual recovery plan. We facilitate in- house AA and NA meetings, and all residents are subject to supervised drug and alcohol testing. The Willing House is the last step before one bridges themselves back to “the real world”, helping people with the disease of addiction move on once they are completely comfortable to leave this environment. It is up to the individual to utilize the tools they’ve learned in recovery in order to stay clean and sober. Each recovering individual has one foot in their recovery continuum building a support group for themselves once they leave us, and the other foot in everyday life. Most of our community has been through an inpatient rehab program or halfway house and have learned about the disease of addiction and the tools needed in order to stay sober.
